(More customer reviews)My 12lb min pin loves his new camo doggy backpack! I always had to force him into his old pet carrier, but he actually won't get out of his new backpack! ! I did a lot of searching online for dog backpacks and this one is really great, especially for the price.
I bought this backpack because I wanted to be able to carry him around while keeping my arms free. The shoulder carrier bags give me a headache after lugging him around the airport, and this is a great alternative.I am hoping I can take it on the airlines too since he flies a lot with me, but I have not tired yet.
My min pin is 12lbs (small but chubby). He fits well in the backpack, especially with the little top open where he can have his head peeking out. He is stable in the bag, and has never come close to falling out. With the entire bag zipped up, he takes up most the room length-wise, but can still turn around and has plenty of room above his head and on the sides. I would feel comfortable flying with him and feeling like he has enough room.
The backpack is also comfortable to wear and looks well-made!
