(More customer reviews)We bought the Crocodile Creek lunch box for our daughter to take to kindergarten after poring over the internet trying to find a company that made something safer than... well, everything else out there. With all the press about lead in Chinese-made vinyl lunch boxes, even looking for something safe for a child to carry their lunch in is intimidating.
This seems to be the best option despite being made in China. There's a great deal of documentation on Crocodile Creek's testing standards around the internet. As well, they are carried by a number of reputable toy dealers who make efforts to test their products.
As for the lunch box itself, it's very attractive, spacious, and functional. The colors and print are true to the photo. We also bought the matching stainless steel water bottle with the multiple butterflies and it really makes for a lovely set. My little girl adores it, and is so proud of her first lunch box. I rest easy knowing it's safe. What could be better?
