The backpack seems to be well made, however I based my order on my dog's weight and I have had to tighten the straps as small as they can go and it still seems a little large for him. We are strictly using this as part of an exercise program, so I am not sure how a fully loaded pack would be. My dog tolerates it well, and it is easy to put on and remove.
