The venturi on this guy is great. It replaced the previous broken CPR Accella BakPak Replacement Pump. The sad thing is that after a year of normal use, it's broken and just stops. I cleaned it regularly - but these things just break. So don't buy it expecting it to last forever. Pumps break period. This is cheap though so it's not a big deal. You almost want to buy 2 of them to begin with - so that when the new one fails you have a replacement right away. My tank was without a working pump for a week before I could get a replacement. The trick on these is the venturi. The thing that makes the bubbles. I tried other brands in the CPR system but I think these are specially modified to get a large quantity of bubbles, hence their exceptional production of them. Even more expensive pumps didn't work as well.

The pumps are perfect for the CPR systems. 1 star off for the lack of lengthy run time beyond 1 year. 4 stars because it is a cheap product that is very good at what it does.
